Just Days After European Vacation, Ramaswamy’s Jet Spotted Landing Near Atlanta Ahead of World Cup Semifinal

Rather than make his case to voters, Ramaswamy uses his private jet for fancy trips

COLUMBUS, OH — Just three days after returning from a week-long European vacation, Vivek Ramaswamy’s private jet took off from Ohio State University Airport in Columbus at 11:17 AM Wednesday and landed at Gwinnett County’s Briscoe Field outside Atlanta at 1:02 PM. The arrival comes roughly two hours before kickoff of the World Cup semifinal between England and Argentina at Atlanta Stadium. The Bombardier Global 5500 made the trip as Ramaswamy campaigns to be Ohio’s next governor.

"Ohioans have a right to ask whether Vivek Ramaswamy is actually in Atlanta watching a soccer match instead of making his case to voters here at home," said Michael McGovern, President and CEO of Innovation Ohio. "He has already been caught on video telling an audience that Ohio is 'not the best state'. In the heat of a tight race for governor, Vivek jetted off to Paris, Geneva, and now a World Cup match in Georgia. Voters are left to conclude that he simply believes he doesn’t have to work to win our vote.”
